DF0422D-310 | Ordinary Bridge
DF0402D-285 is a high-end drive axle of Dongfeng Dana D285 series, with a rated load of 4000kg, designed for the GVW 4-6 tons light truck market.
Incorporating Dana’s high power density technology, it adopts a lightweight press-welded axle shell (102×102 or 100×120 cross-section is optional), and the fatigue life of the axle shell is more than 1.1 million times.
It supports oil brake/air brake dual braking scheme (specification φ310×90/100, 16″), and is suitable for 5.5J×16 rims and 7.00-R16 tires. Providing 5/6 holes bolts (M18/M22) for flexible configuration, the center distance of the air chamber covers 398-460mm, combining high reliability, light weight and multi-model adaptability.

The integrated design of the differential’s driven gear and left housing reduces connecting parts, lowering contact and bending stresses on the tooth surfaces, ensuring low weight, excellent rigidity, longer gear life, and reduced gear meshing noise.
The axle housing has an optimized cross-sectional modulus, enhancing the rear axle’s load-bearing capacity and achieving a fatigue life exceeding 800,000 cycles.
The lightweight design makes the rear axle assembly over 10 kg lighter than similar axles.
