DF0551D-310 is the mid-range drive axle of Dongfeng Dana D310 series, which is specially designed for the GVW 6-8 tons light trucks market, with a rated load of 5500kg.
Inheriting Dana’s ultra-quiet and high-density technology, it adopts a punch-welded axle shell (cross-section of 110×120mm), with a fatigue life of more than 800,000 times and a lightweight design to reduce weight by more than 10kg.
The lightweight design reduces weight by more than 10kg, equipped with an air brake system as standard (suitable for φ310×120~φ360×160 high specification brake), with maximum torque up to 15000N-m, suitable for 6.0J×16 rims and 7.50-R16 tires, and wheel bolts of 6-M22×1.5, which is a good balance between high load bearing and wide adaptability.

The integrated design of the differential’s driven gear and left housing reduces connecting parts, lowering contact and bending stresses on the tooth surfaces, ensuring low weight, excellent rigidity, longer gear life, and reduced gear meshing noise.
The axle housing has an optimized cross-sectional modulus, enhancing the rear axle’s load-bearing capacity and achieving a fatigue life exceeding 800,000 cycles.
The lightweight design makes the rear axle assembly over 10 kg lighter than similar axles.
