DF221S | Steering axle
DF221S is Dongfeng Dana F series high-performance steering axle, adopting a forged I-beam structure and a rated load of 2200kg, which is suitable for light commercial vehicles.
Dual brake programs are available: air brake (φ310×100, 16° rim) or oil brake (φ310×90, 16° rim).
Supporting 1911-1942mm wide wheelbase adjustment, rim mounting distance 1595-1625mm accurate fit; main pin center distance 740-750mm, optimizing steering performance.
Standard 5-M18×1 5 wheel bolts, with 5.5F-16 rims and 7.00R16 tires, 10° main pin camber angle / 1° wheel camber angle, 36° outer wheel steering angle, to ensure the stability of complex working conditions.

Braking Performance: Standard equipped with air brake calipers (e.g., the F2.3 series uses Ø310×120 specifications), ensuring efficient and stable braking. Optional ABS anti-lock braking system and automatic brake gap adjusters are available to enhance safety.
Lightweight and Adaptability: The axle design is lightweight, with adjustable wheelbases (e.g., the F2.5 series has a wheelbase range of 1565-1766mm), suitable for various vehicle scenarios.
Maintenance Convenience: The design requires the application of lithium grease every 2000km, with long-lasting key components to reduce operational costs.
