DF252S | Bus steering axle
DF252S is a high-performance steering axle of Dongfeng Dana F series, which adopts an I-beam structure and has a rated load of up to 2500kg (the highest in the series).
The core parameters are accurately adapted to the heavy-duty demand: wheelbase covers 1824.5-2106mm with ultra-wide adjustment, rim mounting distance 1565-1766mm with flexible layout; main pin center distance 1385-1552mm optimizes the steering performance, and the front axle drop 95mm strengthens the passability.
It is equipped with an oil brake system (supporting 15° and 16° rim specifications), 215/75R17.5 wide base tires and 17.5″ rims, and the steering angle of the outer wheels reaches 38.4°, and the bolts adopt 5-M18×1.5, which can satisfy the requirements of stability and load bearing under complicated working conditions.

Braking Performance: Standard equipped with air brake calipers (e.g., the F2.7 series uses Ø420×80 specifications), with optional ABS anti-lock braking system and automatic brake gap adjusters for efficient and stable braking.
Lightweight and Adaptability: Lightweight bridge design with adjustable kingpin and wheelbase, suitable for various commercial vehicle scenarios.
Maintenance Convenience: Requires the application of No. 2 lithium grease every 2000km, with long-lasting key components to reduce operational costs.
