DF252S | Bus steering axle

DF252S is Dongfeng DANA’s F2.5 series high-performance steering axle, which adopts an I-beam structure with a rated load of 2500 kg (the highest on the same platform).
Exclusively equipped with an oil-brake braking system (compatible with 15“ and 16” dual-rim specifications), supporting ultra-wide wheelbase adjustment from 1,824.5 to 2,106 mm (industry-leading) and flexible wheel rim mounting distances from 1,565 to 1,766 mm;
The kingpin center distance of 1,385–1,552 mm optimizes steering stiffness, while the 95 mm ultra-large front axle drop significantly enhances off-road capability on complex terrain;compatible with 215/75R17.5 wide-base tires and 17.5″ rims, with an outer wheel steering angle of 38.4° (leading in its class), and air chamber interfaces compatible with NPT 1/4 standards, meeting the high-load requirements of medium to heavy-duty buses.
