DF252S | Steering axle

DF252S is a high-performance steering axle of Dongfeng Dana F series, which adopts an I-beam structure and has a rated load of up to 2500kg (the highest in the series).
The core parameters are accurately adapted to the heavy-duty demand: wheelbase covers 1824.5-2106mm with ultra-wide adjustment, rim mounting distance 1565-1766mm with flexible layout; main pin center distance 1385-1552mm optimizes the steering performance, and the front axle drop 95mm strengthens the passability.
It is equipped with an oil brake system (supporting 15° and 16° rim specifications), 215/75R17.5 wide base tires and 17.5″ rims, and the steering angle of the outer wheels reaches 38.4°, and the bolts adopt 5-M18×1.5, which can satisfy the requirements of stability and load bearing under complicated working conditions.

Adopting the integral reducer housing design to increase rigidity and reduce the risk of oil leakage;
The gears adopt the world’s leading high power density design technology, are lighter in weight, have a wide tooth surface design, are more than 10mm wider than competing products, and have lower noise;
Standard forced gear lubrication pump and oil channel inside the main shaft can effectively improve the lubrication of the shaft difference system, reduce shaft difference and cylindrical gear failure, and improve transmission efficiency;
Adopting fluororubber high performance oil seal design, tested according to DANA standards, the seal is more reliable
Optional maintenance-free wheel hub unit meets the matching requirements of high-grade commercial vehicles.
